We are already manufacturing various consumer products but, apart from our own products, we have also tied up with several other companies in order to provide our customers, a wide range of consumer products at the same place, on a very reasonable price. At Fine India the Goal is to go beyond serving current needs of the customers with an eye forward to the future. The foundation of Merit Group of Industries was laid in 1949, as we started trading raw leather hides to various private and government tanneries under the name of Merit Hides. Since then we never looked back and we registered Merit Industries in order to manufacture industrial leather belts and washers in 1969, and we were first and the largest exporter of India. We started our tannery in 1984 by the name of Merit Tannery. Then we started shoes, belts, bags and saddlery
division one by one. Merit Group of Leather Industries launched Fine brand in
the year 1997 to give consumers a reliable and quality products.
Apart from leather, we are also into several industries. We manufacture chemicals for leather industries as well as we also import leather chemicals for trading into domestic market of India under the firm Homera Chemicals. We also have agency of Smith And Jones, a worldwide famous chemical manufacturing company of Holland.
Eve IndustriesThe foundation of Eve industries was laid in 1968 with the firm Model Leather Industries Corporation as we started manufacturing industrial leather belts and washers and in 1978 we switched over to a brand name “Eve”. With this brand first we expanded into leather sleeper manufacturing under the firm Eve Industries and we are well known for our several brand such as Eve, Galaxy, and Goodwill in all over southern India. Then we started chemical trading by the name of Eve Tanners and have a monopoly in our trade as we have taken the agency of Stahl which is a very reputed company of Italy. And now we are also manufacturing Saddlery products for export only under the firm Eve Leathers. We are also into I.T. industry in a joint venture of Fine Softwares as mentioned in Merit Group’s profile.
Venus Exports
The foundation of Mercury Group of Industries was laid in 1965, as we started trading finish leather to various leather goods manufacturers. In year 1985 we started our rubber factory under which we started manufacturing rubber sole for footwear divisions under the firm Mercury Rubber. In year 1998 we constructed our leather tanning unit by the name of Mercury Tannery. After 5 years we started saddlery goods manufacturing under the firm Venus Exports and we are proud to say that we are exporting our products to various European and American countries.
We are also into I.T. industry in a joint venture of Fine Software as mentioned in Merit Group’s profile.
Chandel GroupWe are a renowned government contractor as we started our business in year 1979. Since then we never looked back and we are proud to say that the whole roads of Panki industrial area is made by us. Not only this but the Moti Jheel Guest House and many important roads and houses including Rama Devi crossing is also made by our firms, Chandel Builders and Chandel Constructions.
ATF ChemicalsThis firm is headed by a young dynamic energetic person who is built of his own. The son of a manager of tea garden started his business when he was only 16 years old. Initially he started tanning split leather and when he finished his graduation then he never looked back and started manufacturing industrial soaps and detergents in year 1998 under the firm S Enterprises. Now he is a leader in industrial soaps and detergents of Kanpur. Not only this, but he has also expanded into leather chemical manufacturing under the firms ATF Chemicals and Fine India Chemicals.
Founder people of Fine India5 people joined together to launch Fine India. They are Mohammad Nasser, Mohammad Kamran Khursheed, Shamshad Alam, Mahesh Bahadur Singh Chandel, and Sayeed Ahmed. Mohammad NasserHe was born with a typical disease called born cataract in normal language. Although he had been operated 6 times within 3 years from his birth, but he could hardly get 15 to 20 percent eye sight in only right eye and left eye became dead for ever. When he became 8 years old, then he had been arranged a tutor at house for his basic education under which he had been taught English, Hindi, Mathematics, Urdu, and Arabic. After 5 years he took the admission in standard 5th in a small school by his own efforts and switch over into a renowned school of Kanpur by next to next year in standard 7th. Studying was not easy for him as he had to wear different spectacle and hold magnifying glass for studies and used to wear different spectacle for normal works. Even he could not see the black board while sitting in first row and then also he stood first in all three classes which he read. When he was in 8th standard, his retina was detached of the same right eye from which he could see and the operation of it had not returned his eye sight and he had to leave his studies because he became complete blind. Since then he had struggled very hard to survive In this material world. First he took the training of typing and then he did a diploma course of electronics in which he learnt repairing of colored TV, VCR, two in one, dish antenna receivers etc. Electronics was his hobby and that is why he used to repair electronics goods of his friends and relatives free of cost. One day he realized that when he can repair these goods then why can't he tan leather which is his own traditional business, then he asked his elder brother to read the book of tanning and within few months he learnt leather tanning also. Leather tanning is a very typical type of technical job which is done by specialized experienced engineers and he is well known for his technical abilities in leather industry without having eye sight. In year 1995 he constructed his own tannery and that was his first business established of his own. Very soon he captured the local market of Agra and Delhi and became a renowned tannery owner of Kanpur. he got lot of encouragement from every one and also he was shown in Surbhi on DD1 for his achievements. Repairing electronics goods and tanning leather seems to be almost impossible for any blind person and any blind could be satisfied with those very big achievements, but that was not the end of his success and hard works, he took some time from his business and also learnt computer operating, programming, and repairing. This knowledge brought him into I.T. industry, as he launched many computer education centers by the name of Inset and IIHT in U.P. in year 2000. Not only this but very soon he became the regional director of the company. He is also a first blind man who has passed all 4 certification of Microsoft MCSE, MCSD, MCSA, and MCDBA, for which his name has been applied in guineas book of world records. In almost every news channel his interview has been shown. When he found set in above industries then he started learning about detergent and cosmetic products by hiring an experienced engineer to teach him at his own place, as he believe that one should have thorough technical knowledge before entering into new industry. Then In year 2003, he entered into FMCG manufacturing with an advance unique formulation developed of his own. Not only this but he has also entered into real estate business and insurance sector. Day by day, he is expanding his business. Without having eye sight, he uses to travel alone, both in India and abroad. He does not find any difficulties while traveling alone, even he changes trains, flights, buses, etc. during the journey without having the stick. He is so smart in his senses that he realizes the place and tells which place is this, if he is known to that place. Some time even we may get confuse about the quality of our daily use products, but he touches the product and judges every thing about it better than us. He has a very good general knowledge and speaks very good English, although his primary education is very less but he is so smart that he look like a man who has done MBA. He also knows swimming, motor cycle and car driving, he also love to play musical instruments like Harmonium, Piano, Electronic Synthesizers, etc. He does every thing himself right from shaving to putting the knot of his tie like a normal person, not only this but he can also play chess and he got ninth rank in Kanpur open chess tournament. He is a very jolly type of a person and he always laugh and makes others also laugh by leg pulling and telling jokes and all and that is why every body loves his company. He has many more specialities which can't be mentioned in one page.
Mohammad Kamran KhursheedThis super genius I.I.T. Roorkee double gold medalist engineer is an only son born in a business class family. He has also cleared all Microsoft certifications as well as CCNA and CCNP, and he also has very good command in Linux and Novel network. Apart from studies he was well known for his sports man skill as he played cricket and basket ball for I.I.T Roorkee and almost all the games for his school and college team. He is a very strict business man and runs his business excellently. Over all he is a real genius person.
Shamshad AlamThis well educated man was born in 1974 in a sound business class family. He did his schooling from the best school “Jaipuria” of Kanpur. After B Com, he completed his MBA from Kanpur University. Unlike his physique he is an excellent sports man as he was captain of football and cricket school and college team. He joined his father’s business in 1999 and started expanding and diversifying. And the result is in front of every body that he has setup a huge business of his own in very short period of time. Over all he is a very intelligent and sincere business man.
Mahesh Bahadur Singh ChandelThis young dashing handsome person is also from a business class family. He has done M .Com and parallely he has also done 1.5 years diploma in computer hardware & networking and 3 years in ECommerce & software engineering. He has also passed Microsoft MCSC, MCSD, and MCDBA. He loves to play cricket and still plays for a renowned cricket club of Kanpur. He has very good knowledge of construction business. Over all he is an educated, laborious, and devotee business man.
Sayeed AhmedThis young dynamic energetic person is built of his own. The son of a manager of tea garden started his business when he was only 16 years old. Initially he started part time leather business and when he finished his graduation then he never looked back and in a very short period of time, he has made himself a renowned business man of his trade. Over all he has a jolly nature but he is a very serious and hard working business man.

Bhupendra ChaturvediThis hardworking and laborious young guy from Chattisgarh is a Mechanical Engineer. He has more than 10 years of experience in network marketing.
